We know that legal matters can feel overwhelming, especially when time is critical. To help, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about process serving and our services. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us directly — we’re always happy to help.
1. How much does process serving cost?
Rates depend on location and urgency. Standard serves in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario are billed at a flat fee, with additional charges for rush service, extra attempts, or mileage outside local areas. Contact us for a detailed quote.
2. How quickly can you serve my documents?
We can often complete service within 1–3 business days. Rush or same-day service is available for urgent matters.
3. What happens if the person refuses to accept the documents?
Service can still be considered valid. Our process servers are trained to handle refusals correctly and will note the circumstances in the affidavit of service.
4. Can you serve documents outside your main coverage area?
Yes. We provide out-of-town service upon request. Additional travel and mileage fees may apply.
5. What proof will I receive that the documents were served?
After service, you’ll receive a properly completed affidavit or certificate of service, sworn before a Commissioner for Taking Affidavits or Notary. This document can be filed in court as evidence.
6. Do you offer skip tracing?
Yes. If the recipient cannot be located at the address provided, we can conduct lawful skip tracing to help track them down.
7. Who uses your services?
Our clients include law firms, paralegals, landlords, property managers, businesses, and private individuals who need reliable process serving and legal support.
